An early look at the Grafana Marketplace: Expanding the big tent

Grafana Labs has announced the Grafana Marketplace, a new platform currently in pilot phase that allows independent software vendors, systems integrators, and developers to sell and distribute plugins for Grafana. The marketplace builds on the existing catalog of 300+ plugins by enabling third-party developers to earn revenue from paid plugins, which come with guarantees for updates and support. Founding partners include Crest Data, Phenisys, and KensoBI. Free and open source plugins remain a core part of the ecosystem, and the marketplace is entirely opt-in. A Founding Partner Program offers reduced marketplace fees for early participants who apply before September 30, 2026.
