AMD has announced the Instinct MI350P, a PCIe add-in card variant of the Instinct MI350 series designed for air-cooled servers that lack OAM module support. The card features 128 compute units based on the CDNA4 architecture, 144GB of HBM3E memory, and a 600W TDP (power-cappable to 450W) in a dual-slot FHFL form factor. It supports up to eight cards per node and targets LLM/SLM inference and RAG workloads, using the standard ROCm software stack. No pricing was announced. The launch comes ahead of Intel's competing Crescent Island PCIe accelerator, which uses 160GB of LPDDR5X memory. The MI400 series is also expected later this year.
