AMD has formally launched the higher-tier Ryzen AI Embedded P100 series processors with 8 to 12 Zen 5 cores. These chips pair Zen 5 cores with RDNA 3.5 graphics and an XDNA2 NPU, targeting industrial automation applications. The 8-12 core models offer TDPs between 15 and 54W, 16 lanes of PCIe Gen 4, and are rated for 24/7 operation with a 10-year lifetime. They are also certified for AMD ROCm use. Silicon production is planned for Q3, with reference boards arriving in H2. The even higher-end Ryzen AI Embedded X100 series at up to 16 cores is expected in the second half of the year.
