AWS WorkSpaces Pools now supports FIPS 140-2 validated endpoints for user streaming sessions, providing enhanced cryptographic security for sensitive and regulated information. This support is available in AWS GovCloud (US-East and US-West), US East (N. Virginia), and US West (Oregon) regions. Enabling FIPS endpoint encryption requires specific configurations in the AWS Console under Directories settings.
