Amazon WorkSpaces Personal now assigns unique, publicly resolvable DNS names to each AWS PrivateLink VPC endpoint. Previously, all endpoints shared a generic DNS name, causing conflicts in multi-account or multi-VPC deployments. The new per-endpoint DNS names resolve to private IP addresses accessible only within their respective VPC, enabling enterprise customers to deploy WorkSpaces across multiple accounts with centralized DNS infrastructure and proper security isolation. AWS manages these DNS names automatically, requiring no Route 53 or custom DNS configuration. Existing customers benefit automatically with full backward compatibility.
