Amazon SES Mail Manager has added several new features for improved email security and processing. Key additions include optional TLS and mutual TLS (mTLS) with certificate-based authentication in Ingress Endpoint, enabling legacy systems that don't support STARTTLS to still connect. Two new rule actions are also available: Invoke Lambda function, which allows direct invocation of AWS Lambda from rule sets for custom email workflows, and Bounce, which sends RFC-compliant SMTP responses to sending servers. These features are available in all AWS regions where SES Mail Manager is offered, except UAE and Bahrain.
