Amazon SageMaker Unified Studio now supports Amazon VPC for notebook kernels, enabling enterprises to run interactive notebook compute within their configured VPC boundaries. Notebook kernels inherit VPC settings, subnets, and security groups defined at the domain level, allowing data engineers and scientists to connect to private databases, internal APIs, and non-public data sources. This feature helps meet security and compliance requirements and is available in all AWS regions where SageMaker Unified Studio is supported.
