Amazon SageMaker Studio now allows data workers to create and manage multiple code spaces within a single project for IAM domains. Previously limited to one JupyterLab and one Code Editor space per project, users can now run parallel workstreams with different compute and storage configurations. Each space has its own persistent EBS volume, can be scaled independently, paused and resumed, and connected to a local IDE. Amazon Q paid tier is supported across all spaces.
