Amazon SageMaker Unified Studio now extends its serverless notebook and built-in AI data agent support to AWS IAM Identity Center (IdC) domains, previously limited to IAM domains. The serverless notebook lets data engineers, analysts, and scientists run SQL queries, Python code, large-scale data jobs, ML workloads, and visualizations in a single workspace. A built-in AI data agent generates code and SQL from natural language prompts. Users can mix SQL, Python, and natural language freely, with the notebook backed by Amazon Athena for Apache Spark for petabyte-scale processing.
