Amazon Redshift Concurrency Scaling is now available in the AWS Europe (Zurich), Europe (Spain), and Middle East (UAE) regions. It elastically scales query processing power to ensure consistently fast performance for numerous concurrent queries. Customers with an active Redshift cluster can earn up to one hour of free Concurrency Scaling credits, with control over costs and monitor usage through Cloudwatch. Enabling Concurrency Scaling can be done by setting the mode to Auto in the AWS Management Console.
