Amazon OpenSearch Service now supports OpenSearch 3.5, bringing major improvements in agentic AI, search relevance tooling, and observability. Key additions include persistent agentic conversation memory for multi-turn interactions, context management with automatic LLM token truncation and summarization, and a redesigned no-code agent interface with MCP integration. Search quality tooling gains LLM-powered evaluation with customizable prompts, scheduled experiments for tracking relevance trends, and enhanced single query comparison for agent-driven search. The release is available in all AWS regions where OpenSearch Service is offered.
