Amazon OpenSearch Ingestion now supports Amazon Managed Service for Prometheus as a sink, enabling fully managed end-to-end metrics ingestion pipelines without custom forwarding infrastructure. Teams can route logs and traces to OpenSearch Service while sending metrics to Managed Prometheus for time-series storage. Built-in transformation and enrichment capabilities let users prepare metrics before ingestion, and once stored, metrics can be queried with PromQL, used for alerting, and visualized in Amazon Managed Grafana. The feature is available in all regions where OpenSearch Ingestion is supported.
