Amazon MSK Replicator is now available in the Asia Pacific (New Zealand) region, expanding to 36 AWS regions total. This feature enables automatic asynchronous replication of streaming data across Amazon MSK (Managed Streaming for Apache Kafka) clusters within the same or different AWS regions. It eliminates the need for custom code or infrastructure management, automatically scales resources, and replicates Kafka metadata including topic configurations, ACLs, and consumer group offsets to support regionally resilient streaming applications and disaster recovery scenarios.
