Amazon is significantly scaling back its cloud gaming service Luna. Effective immediately, individual game purchases are no longer available, and titles bought directly will stop working on June 10 with no refunds offered. Access to third-party stores (EA, GOG, Ubisoft) and subscriptions (Jackbox Games, Ubisoft+) are also being removed. Existing users will receive a complimentary Luna Premium subscription as compensation. These changes come amid broader Amazon cutbacks including ~16,000 layoffs, the shutdown of game King of Meat, and dropping a publishing deal with Maverick Games.
