AWS has launched EC2 High Memory U7i-6TB instances in the GovCloud US-West region. These 7th generation instances feature custom Intel Xeon Scalable Processors (Sapphire Rapids), 6TiB of DDR5 memory, 448 vCPUs, and up to 100Gbps network and EBS bandwidth. They're designed for mission-critical in-memory databases like SAP HANA, Oracle, and SQL Server, offering improved transaction processing throughput in data-intensive environments.
