Amazon EC2 Auto Scaling now includes a final validation period when using instance refresh. This feature allows you to perform necessary validation or testing to ensure the success of new EC2 instance deployments before marking the instance refresh as complete. It also supports manual or automatic rollbacks if issues are detected. The feature is available in all AWS commercial and GovCloud (US) Regions.
