Amazon CloudFront now allows customers to deliver access logs directly to Amazon CloudWatch Logs and Amazon Data Firehose, with new log formats including JSON and Apache Parquet. The enhancements eliminate the need for custom log processing and enable automatic partitioning of logs delivered to S3. Standard log delivery to S3 remains free, with 750 bytes of logs free per CloudFront request for logs delivered to CloudWatch Logs.
