Amazon Bedrock AgentCore Gateway and Identity now support VPC egress, enabling secure communication with private VPC resources. Customers can invoke private resources like EKS-hosted MCP servers directly from AgentCore Gateway. Both managed and self-managed (via VPC Lattice) configurations are available. AgentCore Identity VPC egress supports connectivity to private Identity Providers for inbound token validation and outbound request authentication. Private DNS resolution is also supported. The feature is available across 14 AWS regions.
