AWS has announced the general availability of Amazon Q Developer artifacts in the AWS Management Console. This generative AI-powered feature lets users visualize AWS resource data in tables and cost data in charts directly within the console. Users can query resources using natural language (e.g., listing S3 buckets by tag or viewing RDS costs by instance type over time), with results rendered as tables, bar graphs, line charts, pie charts, or area charts. The update also repositions the Q icon to the navigation bar and moves the chat panel to the left for improved accessibility, and adds a full-screen focus mode. A Prompt Library with sample prompts is included to help users get started quickly.
