Altron, a JSE-listed technology group, reported strong operational momentum with headline earnings per share expected to exceed the prior year by more than 30%. Its platform businesses — Netstar (vehicle telematics), Altron FinTech, and Altron HealthTech — now contribute roughly 90% of operating profit and Ebitda despite representing only 45% of revenue. Annuity revenue has surpassed 65% of total group revenue, reinforcing cash-flow stability. Altron FinTech was a standout, posting high-teen revenue growth and high-20s Ebitda growth. The IT services segment remains subdued but a December 2025 restructuring is showing early signs of recovery. The company considers FY2026 the completion of its three-year 'accelerated growth' phase and plans to outline a new 'transformative growth' strategy at a capital markets day in June.
