AlmaLinux To Focus On Increased Testing & Other Goals For 2026

AlmaLinux stakeholders have outlined their goals for 2026 following a face-to-face meeting. Key objectives include increased transparency, greater contributor diversity, expanded testing, more sponsor engagement, and broader documentation language support. Special Interest Groups also set their own targets: the Atomic SIG aims to better understand user adoption of atomic images, the Certification SIG plans process improvements, the Media & Entertainment SIG hopes to release an AlmaLinux 10 KDE Plasma build, and the Marketing SIG intends to improve user surveys.
