Allstacks has launched the Spec Readiness Agent, an AI tool that evaluates and improves software specifications to help engineering teams and AI agents build more accurately. The agent integrates with Jira, Azure DevOps, and Linear, analyzing specs at the epic, sprint, and ticket level. It assigns readiness scores and generates remediation suggestions including acceptance criteria, edge cases, and draft stories. The launch addresses a growing problem in agentic development: AI coding agents interpret specs literally, so incomplete specifications compound rework and costs. Allstacks is also launching a Design Partner Program offering 90 days of unlimited spec readiness analysis to early adopters.
