Alienware's Area-51 desktop is now the first pre-built PC to offer AMD's Ryzen 9 9950X3D2 as a configuration option. The chip is a 16-core Zen 5 processor featuring 192MB of L3 cache, up from 128MB on previous 3D V-Cache models. The Area-51 can be configured with up to a 1500W PSU, RTX 5090, 64GB DDR5 RAM, and 4TB SSD. Pricing for the 9950X3D2 configuration has not been confirmed, but customization is available starting today.
