Alexa+ gets a new ‘adults only’ personality option that curses but won’t get into NSFW content

Amazon has added a 'Sassy' adults-only personality option to its Alexa+ AI assistant. The new style uses explicit language, roasts, and wit, requiring a security check (like Face ID on iOS) to enable. It is not available when Amazon Kids is active. Despite the adult framing, the Sassy personality won't engage with explicit sexual content, hate speech, illegal activities, or harmful topics. The move is part of Amazon's broader effort to make Alexa+ more customizable and engaging in the generative AI era, following other personality styles like Brief, Chill, and Sweet launched last month.
