Gupta says she was inspired by Nicholas Renotte's video on real-time Sign Language detection. Her mom asked her "to do something now that she's studying engineering," she says. Gupta is now studying engineering at the University of California, San Francisco. She says she hopes to one day work in the field of sign language detection.
