Firefox 148, releasing February 24, introduces a centralized AI controls section in browser settings. Users can block all current and future generative AI features with a single toggle, or selectively manage individual features like translations, PDF alt text, AI-enhanced tab grouping, link previews, and sidebar chatbots. Preferences persist across updates and can be changed anytime, giving users complete control over AI integration in their browsing experience.
