This is honestly a good take on working with AI. I also believe discipline is non-negotiable here.
Many devs might join the dark side and just vibe code their way to production because it’s “easy”. But if discipline comes in the mix, then that’s a whole different story.
Developers with the discipline to know when to let AI takeover and when to manually build the product are more valuable than ever in this AI era.

I personally think AI excels when you have a solid foundation, if you’ve setup a good structured project adding new features that are often very similar to existing features (you need this model, this controller this dto or whatever) is easy for the AI, and you know as your foundations are solid the rest should be too.
I guess so super initial scaffolding it’s good but I think you need to switch to assistance mode fairly early on to get those solid foundations
