Anthropic is releasing ten ready-to-run AI agent templates for financial services tasks including pitchbook building, KYC screening, and month-end close. The agents ship as plugins for Claude Cowork and Claude Code, and as cookbooks for Claude Managed Agents. Claude now integrates directly with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook via add-ins, with context carrying automatically across applications. Eight new data connectors (Dun & Bradstreet, Fiscal AI, Financial Modeling Prep, Guidepoint, IBISWorld, SS&C IntraLinks, Third Bridge, Verisk) and a Moody's MCP app expand the financial data ecosystem. The agents are powered by Claude Opus 4.7, which leads the Vals AI Finance Agent benchmark at 64.37%.
