Cloudflare and Stripe have launched a new protocol enabling AI coding agents to autonomously create Cloudflare accounts, start paid subscriptions, register domains, and deploy applications — all without human intervention. Built on top of OAuth, OIDC, and payment tokenization, the protocol introduces three key components: service discovery via a catalog API, identity-based authorization through Stripe as an identity provider, and payment tokenization with a default $100/month spending cap. Agents use the Stripe Projects CLI to orchestrate the entire flow. Any platform with signed-in users can act as an orchestrator in the same way Stripe does. The integration also includes Cloudflare's Code Mode MCP server and Agent Skills to improve deployment quality. Stripe Projects is currently in open beta.
