Microsoft Copilot Studio's Agent Flows feature enables building deterministic, AI-augmented business process automations. A live demo walks through automating a support email triage workflow: emails are classified by AI into categories (product issues, how-to questions, account updates, spam), then routed through different paths where embedded agents handle tasks like searching knowledge bases, creating tickets via MCP, or escalating to humans. A new upcoming workflow designer is previewed, featuring a free-form canvas, inline agent creation, pre-built AI actions like a classify node, per-step testing, and human-in-the-loop review steps. The new experience is accessible today via an early release environment in the Power Platform admin center.
