Little Snitch, the popular macOS network monitoring and traffic control app, has released its first Linux version after 20 years of being exclusive to Apple's platform — and notably, Windows still has no version. The Linux release supports RPM, DEB, and PKG.TAR.ZST package formats, as well as x86, ARM, and RISC-V architectures. It offers two core features: real-time network traffic monitoring broken down by application, and granular traffic control via blocklists and firewall-style rules. While the Linux version lacks some macOS features like map visualization and statistics, it is praised for its clean and accessible UI.
