Canonical has certified the Advantech MIC-770 V3W, a modular fanless edge IPC system, on Ubuntu 24.04 LTS. The device features Intel Core i processors (12th Gen) and Intel R680E chipset, supporting AI inference, machine vision, and industrial control applications. Ubuntu certification provides long-term stability, continuous regression testing, and pre-tested hardware compatibility, reducing validation cycles for industrial and AIoT deployments. Combined with Ubuntu Pro for Devices and the Legacy add-on, customers can receive up to 15 years of security maintenance.
