Adobe has agreed to settle a 2024 US Department of Justice lawsuit over its subscription cancellation practices. The settlement totals $150 million: $75 million in free services to affected customers and $75 million paid directly to the DOJ. The lawsuit alleged Adobe enrolled users in annual plans without clearly disclosing early termination fees that could reach hundreds of dollars. Adobe denies wrongdoing, maintaining it has always been transparent about its subscription terms and cancellation processes.
