Adobe's DOJ Settlement is an Absolute Joke

The DOJ settled its lawsuit against Adobe for $150 million ($75M in civil penalties, $75M in free services) over deceptive subscription practices including hidden early termination fees and difficult cancellation processes. Adobe denies any wrongdoing. The settlement is criticized as a slap on the wrist given Adobe's quarterly revenue of $6.19 billion, making the penalty essentially a rounding error. Adobe is required going forward to clearly disclose fees and provide easy cancellation, but faces no admission of guilt.
