acs-nativity is a new open-source Python package that provides a simple interface for accessing and visualizing US Census Bureau American Community Survey (ACS) data on native-born and foreign-born population trends from 2005 onward. It supports multiple geographies (national, state, county, city, MSA) and includes functions for time-series plots and year-over-year change charts. The package pulls data directly from the Census API via censusdis, so it will automatically support 2025 ACS estimates when released in July 2026, enabling analysis of population changes during Trump's second administration.
