ACD Power/Performance Feature Being Worked On For The GPU Within The Snapdragon X1

Qualcomm engineers are enhancing Linux driver support for the Snapdragon X1 series laptops by implementing the Adaptive Clock Distribution (ACD) feature for the Adreno X1-85 GPU. The ACD feature reduces power consumption and allows higher GPU frequencies in certain environments, focusing initially on the Snapdragon X1 Elite model SoC.
