GraalVM is switching to monthly feature releases starting with version 25.1 in May 2026, replacing the previous six-month cadence for Community Edition. Oracle GraalVM 25.0 remains the stable LTS train with quarterly Critical Patch Updates (CPUs). Upcoming features include new Truffle bytecode interpreters for GraalPy, GraalJS, and GraalWasm; Native Image Layers for container efficiency; Native Image Crema for dynamic class loading; Native Image Terminus for self-hosting builds; and Native Image Web Image targeting WebAssembly. Python 3.13 support is planned for 2026, and GraalVM will skip JDK 26–28 in favor of Java 29 LTS support.
