Databricks has introduced a Free Tier for Lakeflow Connect, its built-in data ingestion product. Every Databricks workspace now automatically receives 100 free DBUs per day dedicated to managed SaaS and database connectors, enabling ingestion of up to 100 million records per workspace per day. Lakeflow Connect supports 30+ connectors including Salesforce, Workday, ServiceNow, Google Analytics, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Snowflake, and BigQuery, with unified governance via Unity Catalog. The offering targets organizations looking to break down data silos so AI agents like Databricks Genie can reason over complete enterprise context.
