ABB Robotics and NVIDIA have announced a partnership integrating NVIDIA Omniverse libraries into ABB's RobotStudio simulation platform. The new product, RobotStudio HyperReality, enables physically accurate simulation with 99% correlation to real-world robot behavior, synthetic data generation for AI training, and ABB's Absolute Accuracy technology reducing positioning errors to ~0.5mm. Expected to launch in H2 2026, it promises to cut deployment costs by up to 40%, accelerate time to market by 50%, and reduce setup/commissioning times by up to 80%.
