A2A Java SDK 1.0.0.CR1 has been released, marking the final step before GA. All 1.0 features are complete with no breaking changes from Beta1. The headline addition is a v0.3 protocol compatibility layer supporting three scenarios: v1.0 clients talking to v0.3 servers, v1.0 servers accepting v0.3 clients, and single servers serving both versions simultaneously. The release also adds an Android HTTP client using HttpURLConnection, unified HTTP client implementations across JDK/Vert.x/Android, and a spec-compliant SSE parser. Bug fixes include correct historyLength application, Authorization header in push notifications, and Jakarta compatibility for WildFly. Seven contributors participated, including four first-timers.
