A standard, open framework for building AI agents is coming from Cisco, LangChain and Galileo

Cisco, LangChain, Galileo, and other companies have launched AGNTCY, an open-source collective aimed at creating a standard language for AI agent interoperability. This initiative aims to enable seamless communication between AI agents built on different platforms and frameworks. The group likens its effort to the advent of TCP/IP and DNS, which organized the internet. AGNTCY is envisioned as both a platform and a protocol, enabling developers to easily connect, deploy, and evaluate AI agents across various systems.
