A DIY smart thermostat project for 120V fan coil HVAC systems, which are common in apartments and condos but incompatible with standard off-the-shelf smart thermostats. Built around an ESP32 running ESPHome, the device features a 2.42" OLED display with auto brightness, a rotary encoder for control, a relay to switch the fan coil, and an SHTC3 temperature/humidity sensor.
