As a Linux user, I constantly felt the absence of a robust note-taking and task-management app. This pushed me to create NoteSlayer - built for Linux but seamlessly available for all desktop platforms.
Here’s what NoteSlayer brings to the table:

Why it’s not open-source: I understand our community’s love and preference for open-source. I genuinely respect that. For various reasons including development costs, resources, and plans, NoteSLAYER is currently not open-source.
I hope you’ll understand my perspective and respect the effort that went into building it.
I tested the app on different Ubuntu versions and it works fine

Thanks for the app but this is false. Been using Joplin (an open-source, privacy-friendly, can be self-hosted for sync, markdown-first, extension plugin support) for years and haven’t found a single issue. Have you tried it yet? If so, what would make me pick your app over Joplin? Could you please ellaborate
