A Guide to Choosing the Best Jamstack CMS

I went through an extensive selection process for Jamstack CMSes just a couple of months ago. My pick was Prismic due to its generous free tier limits, image processing and robust enough visual editor experience for what I was trying to do.
I did find I ran into some hiccups with slice machine, I was hoping for more variability in a single slice than it could allow. Meaning I would have to have many more slices than I’d expected to need.
Also the lack of a mobile editing experience was a downside I was planning to just live with, it’s wouldn’t be a major problem if Prismic had write access to its API but alas that isn’t offered.
The project was eventually cancelled but not before I was able to make PoC version, was a fairly decent DX.
