ClearMesh is a Git-like version control platform for large binary files, datasets, model checkpoints, and media folders. It splits files into chunks stored in S3/R2-compatible object storage, enabling deduplication across versions so only changed chunks are re-uploaded. Repos can be cloned, synced, browsed via a web UI, or mounted read-only so tools access files via a normal filesystem path with on-demand chunk fetching. Built with a Rust CLI, it supports commits, branches, optional client-side encryption, and targets AI, VFX, research, and engineering teams dealing with large artifacts.
