A better deletion approach than soft delete

Interesting idea, but it would not have any benefit over just adding a column to every table.
The single delete table would become a bottleneck for all queries as you have to join with it to make sure you don’t show deleted data.

Although this approach has a few evident trade-offs, it still holds some convenience, mostly on the <a href="https://laravel-news.com/laravel-deleted-models" target="_blank" rel="noopener nofollow">query and indexing side</a>.
