Claude code vs Cursor

I personally abandoned Cursor a few months ago. It’s great for speeding up code for specific purposes, but in my opinion, it’s “poor” (pardon the term) on a more holistic level. I haven’t tested Cloud Code thoroughly yet, but from initial testing, I can already say I find it better.
I’m personally developing some tools with Kiro (aws IDE), which always creates specifications and a .md document for the context and limitations of what an agent should do before working on the code.
I’ve found it very effective; I’ve created an application consisting of two front-ends, a backend, and two apps. Every change, update, or improvement is documented and automatically, if relevant, extended to the stack (for example, the hook for push notifications made in the backend automatically checked the apps and created the documentation to implement them).
Returning to your question, thanks for your patience in reading my post, my preference, I’d say Cloud Code. Anthropic is currently winning over code agents.

i think antigravity gemini is the best so far. cause i want something that can give me code instantly and i can test and modify instantly.
i know claude code and cursor are excellent but one down side is, it eats the quota and token very quick.
my workflow now is use antigravity generate code, go to chatgpt and qwen for multitasking and do test and some modifying. already can cover up 100% of my hardest part of the coding job.

I started using Kiro a while ago, but Claude recently dropped support there since Claude Opus is no longer available. That’s a bit of a bummer, because there were a few solid reasons to use it.
One big plus was the steering docs feature. you could pull in the whole codebase in one click and it actually understood the project. Another was Agent Hooks, which were great for testing code quality on its own output. On top of that, the 500 credit limit made it perfect for testing and basic development work.
Not sure why, but Claude Opus 4.5 (thinking model) paired with Google’s Anti-Gravity feels like the best combo right now. The limits are pretty generous too.
Another tool I’ve been using recently is Kilo.
Oh I forget the question is about Claude Code vs Cursor.
tbh, Cursor still feels a bit off sometimes when fixing things in large projects. I don’t really get that same friction with Claude Code—it’s been way more consistent for me.

Currently, testing Kiro. Mixed feelings so far: I like the tasks Spec mode but it ofter drain my CPU/Ram to the ground causing major crashes (MacBook Pro/Arm)
