<p>Good article, but I think what’s missing is how absolutely horrible and demoralizing interviewing at companies is. You spend an incredible amount of time, you curate your resume to the job, you write cover letters, you block out time for interviews, the list goes on. And after all this, you get ghosted, or maybe you just don’t get the job, or maybe you have ANOTHER interview, the list goes on here too.</p>
<p>It’s demoralizing, and it makes it hard to want to give effort to these interviews when we get treated like disposable garbage every step of the way. I’m certainly in no rush to jump back into the race again, and I know many others share this attitude</p>
