Many Linux distributions that once gained popularity have been discontinued over the years. These include Mandrake Linux, known for its user-friendly approach, CrunchBang Linux, which was lightweight and customizable, and Scientific Linux, designed for scientific computing. 7 Linux Distros I Still Miss in 2024

Linux Mandrake, which became Mandriva, before eventually being discontinued. Was a great easy to install distro in an era when it was much harder to call yourself that.

I still have CDs of Mandrakr, and the full box of Corel Linux. Those were good times.

So many people miss Mandrake. Someone should bring it back!
