<p>I’m not convinced. And “they’re becoming popular” is a terrible “reason” to consider something. If jumping off a bridge were suddenly popular (i.e., bungie jumping) are you going to do it, too?</p>
<p>Not only that, but “everyone has the same config” is not always desirable. We do plenty of work where it’s necessary to alter that configuration to make sure nothing breaks, or to implement something new. And if I were to lose that every day, or have to write a custom Dockerfile for it… No thanks.</p>
